Hello everyone, I am Dr. Nelson Winston. I write my stupid, useless opinions about music on this site. 

Most of my content relates to my year-end lists, for which I do three types. Every December and January, I get to work on my year-end lists for the year in rock and alternative music. I also do retro year lists in oldies pop music up until 1989, and rock and alternative music from 1990 onwards. I know you are all very fascinated in my worst lists as it is what gets the views, but I also write best lists, in case you are also into that sort of thing.

Currently I have best and worst lists for 1963 and 1977 for pop music, and 1992, 2021, and 2022 for rock music.  The next year-end project relates to the best and worst rock music of 2011.

I am also beginning an album oriented series, called “Does It Suck?,” where I go over an album with a split public opinion and decide whether or not it is worth your time.  

I will try to keep the content as reader-friendly as possible, but considering certain topics that are frequently discussed in songs, as well as background information about songs and their artists, I will have to bring up potentially NSFW information from time to time.  As a result, the material on this blog contains elements that may not be suitable for children under 14.
